FAQ

Questions about PRYSM, answered.

How the adaptive engine works, what devices are supported, how to prepare for a race, and everything in between.

Getting started

Everything you need to know before your first session.

PRYSM is an adaptive running training engine. It builds a personalized plan based on your goal, fitness level, and schedule — then recalibrates that plan after every session based on your actual performance and recovery. Think of it as a coach that's always up to date on where you are.

Training plans

How the engine builds and updates your program.

You provide your goal (race distance, target time, race date), your weekly availability, and your current fitness level. PRYSM generates a structured plan from that profile — then keeps updating it based on your session data.

Marathon & half marathon preparation

Race-specific questions about PRYSM's training blocks.

Yes. PRYSM builds 12 to 20-week marathon blocks with progressive overload, long run management, and an automatic taper. The plan adjusts continuously so your peak is planned for race day — not week 8.

Personalization & adaptation

How PRYSM reads your body and responds.

RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) is your subjective effort rating for a session, scored 1–10. After each run, you log your RPE. PRYSM cross-references this with your pace, heart rate, and recovery data to calibrate your next workout intensity.

Pricing & subscription

What's included and how billing works.

PRYSM offers an Essential plan and a Pro plan. Essential covers dynamic training plans and RPE logging. Pro adds real-time fatigue adaptation, advanced biomechanics insights, and priority coach support. See full details on our pricing page.
